Les Arcs

Les Arcs is a resort composed of four purpose-built villages at different heights: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, and Arc 2000.

At each level of Les Arcs, you can easily ski in and out, with the vast Paradiski right at your doorstep! The vision for Les Arcs began in the 1960s when local ski instructor and mountain guide Robert Blanc, honored each February with the Robert Blanc Derby ski race, saw the potential. Hailing from Bourg Saint Maurice, he imagined a resort that offered direct access to the ski area and provided all the amenities of a village.

The new millennium brought a development at 1,950m, and in 2003, Arc 1950 emerged. It continues to evolve with ongoing construction of new residences and facilities. Breaking away from the design of previous resorts, Arc 1950 aimed to create an old-world charm using local stone and wood, giving the buildings and town layout a more traditional look. Designed by American developers Intrawest, Arc 1950 has the ambiance of a North American ski resort. Today, it stands as the youngest and most unique concept village in Europe, boasting 8 residences, each with its distinct style, all rated 5 stars.
